On this blog you will find images and texts of my research during my residency at LIA (http://www.liap.eu).
I choose Leipzig as a residency place because I was inspired by the paintings of artists from the Neue Leipziger Schule (Neo Rauch, Mathias Weischer,…). Now that I am in Leipzig I found out that I am mostly attracted by the colours they use. Their palet is quite different from the ones I saw before and the way they combine colours I find totally inspiring.
I’m living and working in Leipzig for about one month now and I noticed that the city carries these strange colour combination in itself. So my research will be mostly about collecting pictures of interesting colours (and forms) and during this research I will make work inspired on these pictures.
